NLG MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION Please read: The NLG on-line membership process has multiple steps. It is not a lengthy process, but please make sure you have time to follow-through all steps so that your membership
will be processed completely. Stopping half-way through can create problems in making sure your membership information is correct.
If you are a member of a Staffed Chapter (San Francisco, New York City, Massachusetts, Michigan or Los Angeles), please
choose one from the menu on the right and do not fill out this form. Your dues should go directly to the correct Staffed Chapter.
If you are interested in being a member of one of the Guild Projects - the National Police Accountability Project (NPAP) or the National Immigration Project - please contact them directly. Their information is at the right.
Online Dues Steps:
Please fill out of the contact and other information on the next page. The more precise information we have, the
more accurate our records will be. When you have finished, click the "Submit"
button once. This will take you to Page Three.
Page Three is the payment section. Here you may fill out your Dues amount, which Committees you wish to sign up for, ways to
donate to the Guild, and other options. In the upper right-hand corner,
you will see a sum of your payment(s). When you have finished choosing your payment options, click once on the large "Submit" button.
You will then be transferred to Paypal's site to enter your payment information. The first page you see will have all your payment choices lumped together in a long list, under the heading "Item." You will see a "Quantity" column, which will read "1".
DO NOT CHANGE THIS QUANTITY. Paypal will also show you the total of your payment before you click to proceed.
Follow the steps within Paypal to make a secure payment. You do not need a Paypal account to use Paypal.
PayPal will, however, give you a place to register for a PayPal account.
Ignore their login box, and proceed to the bottom of the page, where you
will see a button marked "Continue Payment" - click there after inputting your
credit card information. After you have made your payment, you will be
shown a receipt, which you should print. When you are done, close your browser window.
NLG Staffed Chapters Projects of the Guild
These projects collect their own dues, separate from the NLG. Please visit their websites to pay them directly. Please note that their dues do not count towards membership within the NLG.
